There's something off about the texture— it’s fairly smooth but feels like it refuses to disperse naturally. It’s moderately sweet but has no other distinguishable flavors going on.

Very well rounded and carries a noticeable maltiness that brings each sip to a satisfying conclusion.
Solid chocolate flavor delivered through a nicely thin, creamy medium. There is a bit of grain throughout, but it does not detract from the tasty experience. Strong across the board.
Straightforward, slightly on the bland side, but competent 1% chocolate milk with little to write home or complain about.
Fantastic chocolate flavor and salty/sweet levels. The texture is quite thick and has lots of particulates that will adhere to the inside of the glass (it has potato flakes in it). From a taste standpoint, it’s outstanding, I wish the texture were a bit thinner/smoother. Minor gripe.
Salty, sweet, creamy, malty— all around a very tasty experience. Chocolate may be the least prominent feature of the drink, but the others are great so you won’t care too much.
Strong overall flavor, and a lot of what I get is sweetness, which is not what you’d expect from a ’25% less sugar’ product. I suspect the monk fruit extract, which is 150-200x sweeter than sugar, is a bit overplayed here, upstaging the ‘double chocolate’ element.
I was expecting some sort of ‘crispy’ aggregate suspended in the milk, but instead I guess it’s an attempt to emulate a crunchy toffee bar(?). It does deliver sufficiently on that but it's a bit too sweet for me, and the toffee experience is not one that is enhanced through flavored milk, in my view. Still flavorful enough to be considered average despite the drawbacks.
Wow- I wasn't prepared for the ambush of flavor that this would wreak on my buds. It's sweet as heck, akin to drinking caramel straight from the Rolo factory spigot; a pretty indulgent feeling experience that was executed well.
If ‘potting soil’ and ‘paint thinner’ had a baby, this would be the amniotic fluid. This isn’t really chocolate milk in the purest sense, it’s definitely a ‘health shake’— and it may deliver on that, but if it’s taste you’re after, spread garbage disposal gleanings on a cracker instead.
Tasty and dense— doesn't feel like the consistency of milk in the mouth, but isn’t off-putting. Has a more mature, malty and not too flashy flavor that beseeches further consumption.
Has that signature Nesquik flavor, which is easier to appreciate with less sweetness. The texture is chalky and grainy, expect lots of particulates to stick to the inside of the glass (though most will siphon it straight from the box). Not a bad lower-sugar option.
Bland and uninteresting, but not offensive. Doesn’t take too many chances, and neither should you— buy something else.
Definitely not sweet and has a wheaty taste reminiscent of one of those grain-based breakfast-replacement concoctions. The taste isn’t nasty, just not what ‘chocolate milk’ should be.
Much more noticeable malt quotient than the rest of the Dairyland portfolio, and it’s more prominent than the chocolate for sure. Averagely sweet and creamy and a lot else is straight down the middle.
Saltier and more similar to the 946mL version with more malt than chocolate, but there’s a residue that hangs in the back of your throat afterward.
Caramel is by far the most prominent flavor, which was a surprise, but not necessarily a bad one. Each subsequent sip got better and better— it’s got a great creaminess to it that is not overly thick or starchy feeling.
Fairly bland, the stevia leaf taste kicks in post-swallow and mars an otherwise tasteless experience. As far as reduced sugar versions go, it's not bad— but compared with average chocolate milk, especially side-by-side, it can’t compete.
A tad salty and a fair dose of malt as well- has a buttery quality to the finish which was a welcome surprise.
Well balanced with a creamy and salty punch to accentuate the chocolate. Kept coming back to this one for a sip here and there despite having 10+ other chocolate milk options in the fridge— it’s exceptionally drinkable.
