The underlying flavor isn't terrible, but it's hard to focus on given the cloying artificial sweetness and egregious astringency, which exacerbates with each passing post-swallow moment. I feel like I could legitimately strike a match off of my tongue.
Searing upfront sweetness that may be a welcome palate assault for the hardcore carb-averse, but for everyone else, this is much more likely to offend than satisfy. The cocoa flavor is strong enough to poke through for a quick cameo, and its fat-starved, artificially-thickened base is less concerning than the sweetener concoction which, un-chased, will continue to devalue your oral real estate.

About as good as a nonfat chocolate milk can be. It does drink a little on the thicker side, but perhaps they’ve unlocked a secret regarding nonfat chocolate milk— don’t homogenize.
Has that sweet carton-y flavor that plagues many chocolate milks packaged in such a way. Basically, it’s like licking one of those colored greeting card envelopes that has a modicum of sweetness and otherwise industrial paper-like quality. I think I prefer the envelope.

It's hard to believe that there’s actually 6.8g sugar per 100mL— tastes like much less. The experience is dominated by a sour, damp, wheaty flavor that will linger on your palate long after each ill-considered mouthful.
Sweet, but empty— with just a hint of ‘wheaty’ flavor toward the back end. The more I try it, the more I want something else.
Unnecessarily thick and tastes like spray paint fumes (modestly so, anyway). You could convince yourself that there’s more ‘banana’ flavor in this than ‘chocolate’— but either way, it’s not to be pursued for enjoyment.
