Foamy top but a pretty fair and true chocolate flavor throughout. The sweetness isn't overdone (thankfully, as it’s artificially sweetened) so no major red flags go up when you send this down your gullet.

Emmi Choco Latte Classic
Tons thinner than you’d expect from this packaging (often used for milkshakes) and it nails the high-cream-to-low-viscosity ratio that is one of my top criteria for a high score. The cocoa flavor is strongly sour, and interacts well with the cream, bringing you a very mature and indulgent feel that is refreshing in a world of over-emulsified, candy-sweet drinks.
Ovo Drink Choco
Smoother and thinner than its counterpart, and there is a bit of chocolate flavor present. Given all that, however, I enjoyed the original slightly more.
Ovo Drink
More malt than chocolate flavor, and plenty of salt which brings the flavor to life. Reminds me of Ovaltine but more flavorful and smooth. Enjoyed this much more than I expected.
Heidi Drink
Smooth and malty— very tasty despite not having tons of chocolate flavor. Gets better with each sip, and alas, it’s gone. Time to get more.
Comella Choco-Drink
Strong cocoa flavor, but lacking a bit of salt and cream. There’s a powdery quality to the aftertaste that is slightly drying to your mouth.
Caotina Original
Above average in all respects, the taste is plenty chocolaty and implores you to take another sip. I found myself savoring each mouthful.
Migros Léger Choco Drink
Metallic taste, artificial feeling texture and sweetness— not something most people would enjoy. If you need a low-calorie option in Switzerland, ‘Coop Chocato Drink 0.2% Fat’ is a slightly tastier choice.
Migros Classic Choco Drink
Somewhat creamy but otherwise bland. Texture is smooth but there is no noticeable chocolate flavor to keep you interested. The predominant flavor is one of wheat, almost beerlike.
Migros Choco Drink Lactose Free
Noticeably more flavorful from the normal (lactose-containing) version perhaps because of the salty snap at the end of the taste. Pleasantly smooth and balanced taste.
Coop Chocato Drink 0.2 Percent Fat
Super chalky and powdery cocoa taste that feels unnatural. Could use some salt at the very least to bring it together.
Coop Chocato Drink Lactose Free
Watery, no creaminess nor salt, a bizarre experience. Doesn’t seem like milk is even involved here.
Coop Chocato Drink Dark
Incredibly strong cocoa taste, feels like you’re drinking a bar of baking chocolate. Flavorful and otherwise decently balanced, but I feel like I couldn’t drink a whole lot of it. Definitely the shining star of Swiss Coop products.
Coop Chocato Drink
Chalky and not particularly sweet or chocolaty. Decent amount of grain left on the tongue after consumption. It’s passable on its own, but when compared with others, its blandness becomes very evident.
Ok.- Choco-Drink
Exactly what it claims to be: “OK.” Very similar in look and taste (and ingredients) to Cremo Choky, and only slightly less flavorful as far as I could tell. The sweetness seemed to have just a tiny bit of fruity quality, which I did not detect in the Choky.
Cremo Choky
Flavorful and thin, but more sweet than anything else. There are notes of salt, cream, and cocoa— a fairly well-rounded experience.
Coop Jamadu Chocato Drink
Despite a creamy quality that you sense in the aftertaste, this is not a tasty chocolate milk. It lacks sweetness and cocoa flavor in a major way, and is not worth more than a couple of sips.
Emmi Micao Choco Drink
Texture is unnecessarily thick, and it is pretty much devoid of any type of flavor. Not recommended.
Migros Energy Drink Choco
Bland and not very chocolaty. High degree of chalk, not as flavorful as the Emmi Energy Milk Choco. Very missable, but not offensive.
Emmi Energy Milk Choco
Decent flavor for what it is, but not overly chocolaty. The flavor is a rather mildly malty one, it’s better than no flavor at all (like Migros Energy Drink Choco). The salt is definitely more noticeable as well, which helps significantly.
